Ed is a media, entertainment and music lawyer.

He specialises in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and advising on the exploitation and protection of intellectual property rights. He also works closely with the firm’s corporate team advising on corporate arrangements for individuals and SMEs.

Ed’s areas of expertise include entertainment (including music, live events, publishing, television and theatre), advertising (including branding, market research, sponsorship and endorsement), digital media and technology.

His clients include a number of the world’s most successful artists, bands and DJs, YouTubers, influencers, footballers, chefs, photographers and fashion designers and social media companies, artist managers, record labels and festivals.

Ed is a guest lecturer at Westminster Law School, a member of the International Association of Entertainment Lawyers and speaks regularly on panels and at training events for organisations such as the MMF.

​Before qualifying as a solicitor, Ed worked in the music industry as an artist manager and label manager.
